The Fusion Players presented this dramatisation of the poignant but true story of the Derbyshire Village of Eyam, stricken by the plague in 1665.
The play tells how the villagers were persuaded by an alliance between the present and former rectors not to leave the village thus preventing the spread of the disease beyond the village boundaries.
